What is pre-bidding?
A pre-bid is a bid placed before the “Live” auction actually begins. First-Choice Auctions Ltd. offers pre-bidding on all it’s auctions.
Do I have to register to watch the auction sale?
No, please feel free to watch the sale.
Do I have to register to place a bid on an item?
Yes, bidder must be 18 years or older, a credit card is required to bid.
Will others be able to see my information?
Bidder username, paddle number & bidder location (city) is the only information posted publicly.
How do I bid on an item?
Please use the “enter auction” button.
Choose “Get Approved To Bid” or “Live” button
Sign in with your username and password. If you do not have a username and password you will have to create one. Please follow the online instructions.
Don’t forget to fill in how you would like to receive item. ie: shipping, pick-up
You will receive a screen that reads “approved to bid”

What is a reserve?
A reserve is a minimum price the consignor is willing to accept for the item.
Can I retract a bid?
No, a bid is a legal binding contract to purchase the item. The highest bidder is the buyer of the item. Please consider your bids carefully before bidding.
How do I pay for my item?
An invoice will be sent and the credit card you registered with will be charged. If applicable, invoice will include shipping/handling and insurance. Invoices will include taxes.
How do I pick up my purchases?
Items can be picked up by appointment. Please use the PICK-UP tab at top of page to book an appointment. Feel like skipping the pick-up? These third party courier services deliver within Edmonton.
Can you ship my purchases to me?
Yes, we usually use Canada Post & USPS for domestic and international shipping, unless item/items are oversized. Please see SHIPPING tab at top of page for more information.
